The snow has finally been washed away by a couple of warmer, rainy days, and we've been taking advantage of the sweater weather and the overflowing creeks and spending lots of time outside. Daffodil spears are poking through the ground and our crocuses have their first purple buds. I've been daydreaming over my wildflower field guides. Spring is my favorite season!

My boy earned his Tiger Stripes and is advancing onto Wolf Cubs.
Most days have felt more like winter around here, and we've been staying indoors painting and reading, baking, playing with Play-Doh, and painting rocks. But we've had a few warmer days among the frigid ones, where we've been able to visit playgrounds again and play outside. Also, there's a massive flock of Snow Geese residing in our area now. We keep spotting them in the skies above the grocery store or in the fields of the surrounding farms.
