It may be a little early to plant a garden in New Jersey, but with the warm temperatures we've been having lately (and the great forecast), we decided to go for it.
This weekend we planted: kaleidoscope carrots, russet potatoes, festival bell peppers, cucumbers, sweet peas, tomatoes, dill and basil.
And we found a few treasures while digging up the dirt.
Now to stake those tomato plants and have some kind of coverage standing by just in case of frost.
T is still working on some sort of fence to keep the critters out. Though I imagine they'll still find a way in. We have clever squirrels, foxes, and ground hogs around these parts.
