Joining Ginny over at Small Things for another Wednesday Yarn-Along...

On/Off the Needles: Finally finished the February Baby Sweater! What would have normally taken me a week to knit took over a month. How's that for two kids for you? But I'm getting better at nursing and knitting at the same, a little more coordinated. Hopefully, this will result in lots of timely finished objects.

Vivvers seems to like her new sweater; she's already chewed all over the yoke. I can tell you Kertzer's Down to Earth holds up quite nicely to a bounty of baby slobber.

I never measured this sweater, just eye-balled everything and luckily it fits to a T (for the moment anyway), although I would have liked a little more length in the sleeves.

Next up on the needles...a snake for Mr. S. We've not yet decided on a pattern, but we do know we want stripes of blue, white and black.

Reading: I've been reading the latest issue of Poets & Writers and dreaming of having the time and money to attend one of the decadent writer's retreats mentioned in this issue. Maybe the one in Key West?

Head on over to the Small Things Blog to check out what others are knitting and reading this week.
