Sweet Vivian, you are three months old!
cold weather and wool buntings (handmade by your Grandie)...
lots of stories from big brother...
and oh, so many smiles and laughs.
At three months, you weigh 13 pounds and 9 ounces. You still nurse every two hours, and you still sleep through the night. Earlier this month, you learned how to sit up straight from a reclining position. You lift your head and upper back and curl forward in your bathtub and your bouncy seat until you can nearly sit up straight.
The past couple of weeks you've been trying your hardest to sit up from a lying down position as well. Yesterday in your bassinet stroller, you kept raising your head up to look over the edge. We have a feeling you'll be crawling sooner than we think.
This month we discovered your tickle spot was under your arms, and now we can make you laugh whenever we please.
You're still drooling and chewing on everything: your hands, your clothes, blankets, teething toys, whatever you can get your hands on. But your first teeth have yet to make an appearance. We check your gums everyday and see nothing but pink.
This month you've taken even more of an interest in your brother, constantly craning your neck to see what he's doing and giving him the majority of your smiles and laughs. And for his part, big brother will play with you all day and loves nothing more than holding you in his lap and making you laugh with silly faces.
