Georgia

Today we said goodbye to a family member and one the best friends I have ever had. Georgia had been suffering from seizures for the past two years due to what the vet believed to be a brain tumor. She had degraded to a point where the seizures were occurring daily; she was almost blind, and all of her personality and spirit was completely gone. If you knew Georgia, please remember how playful and energetic and crazy she could be. Those that never met Georgia, you missed out. She was that smartest most loving dog I have ever known.

Always so hard to lose a pet. She was adorable. Glad she is not in pain anymore and that you have many good memories of your time with her.

Your dad and I were talking about her last night, remembering how much she loved to run in the fields behind our house, chasing deer, squirrels, and anything else she could find. Her "smile" was so genuine, a truly wonderful dog.

I know she's not suffering anymore and that helps. But, like you, I miss the dog Georgia used to be.

Love you,
Mom/Grandie

I am so sad for you :( I'll be thinking of you and your family over the next few weeks while you miss a faithful friend.

It's so hard to loose them. They are part of the family, and give true meaning to "unconditional love." Thinking of you and your family today. . .

Thanks for all the kind words. Our home is just not the same without her.
