Nothing but rain the past couple of days. I've been trying my best to keep Seamus entertained. It's not much fun being stuck inside an apartment for 48 hours, especially for a toddler. We did take a quick walk in between showers, just to get some fresh air, but for the most part we've had to make our own fun.
Here's what you do when there's nothing else to do:
Yesterday we made a box car and zoomed around the house, and then I strung some curtains with yarn and draped them across the living room (these didn't last two seconds before they were balled up in the floor). Later on we used the curtains as a cape and pretended to bullfight in the kitchen. Seamus was the bull and I was the matador. Seamus loves this game.
Today a dinosaur attacked the Sesame Street house, and then all of Seamus's farm animals got to drink out of the cat's dish. For dinner, we made horse and elephant stew in the slow-cooker and then Seamus stew. Then we crawled in and out of cabinets.
Right before bedtime, the weather let up and T and I walked Seamus down to the carnival at the Roman Catholic Church.
